Fat Dog Café wins NZ Cafe Magazine Best Service Award

With the support of the Van Dyck Fine Foods LTD, NZ Cafe Magazine have created a quarterly best service award for the café where they have experienced exceptional service. The winning café receives a framed service award and $ 250 of Van Dyck products. Their inaugural award goes to The Fat Dog café ( 116 Arawa St 07 347 7568 ) where the waitperson made the effort to ask how our day was and gave particularly great service with a real smile. The Fat Dog Café is a funky, bright casual café that has established a loyal local following, plus overseas visitors have a beeline for the café because it is featured in many tourist guides as one of New Zealand best cafes.
